What the check looks at
- Background noise — fans, traffic, hum and room hiss.
- Voice level — whether you’re too far from the mic or it’s turned down.
- Clarity — how far your voice stands out above the noise.
- Peaks — whether loud words are clipping. Clipping can’t be repaired later.
